In our lives we too, have had wonderful, fam ily persons, caring friends, and sometimes strangers who “ filled our barns” without counting the cost to themselves, nor expecting anything in return Some o f us give even when it seems foolish to those around us. A lot o f us give in d iffer ent ways; foster parents, adoptive parents, volunteers for service pro grams, visiting the sick, we give to others before we do for ourselves, we give our last dime, we give w hen we virtua lly have nothing to give. We have learned to say I care about you and mean it, we have learned to go an extra mile, and we have also learned that fam ily and friends are not just o f flesh and blood, but o f barns fu ll o f overstocking o f love given without counting the cost.
